This was the family's own home before it became part of the collection. Once home to Elis Regina, one of Brazil's most celebrated singers, the home features views over São Conrado beach, with monkeys and birds moving through the trees below. 350sqm, four bedrooms, a private pool on the terrace.

  • My family was very well accommodated. Lise (the cook) was wonderful and made delicious food. She was very proactive and a sweetheart. Lorraine was super helpful and made our lives easier with shopping, guidance, and making our stay very relaxing. Settling the bill upon departure was easy and convenient (excellent). I forgot the caretaker's name, sorry, but he helped us with the luggage and putting away the groceries. Beautiful house. Of course, it has its imperfections from the wear and tear of the sea air and time, but nothing that bothered us. Anyone who has a beach house knows how difficult it is to keep everything 100% spotless at all times. The house is cozy, and the view of the night sky is a spectacle in itself. Sleeping to the sound of the sea is another positive point. Two exit lanes, which is very important for those who know Rio's traffic: both going to Leblon and to São Conrado, and with a beach strip very close by that has kiosks frequented only by.

  • Amazing villa for a large group. We felt right at home! Very responsive host and all the activities or restaurants we wanted to go to was a short uber ride away. We felt very safe and secure in this neighborhood.

    The location is also good, right nearby the beautiful Sao Conrado beach. Everyone at the Carel Collection was very responsive and communicative, we had a great time. And lastly, it was also an amazing experience to stay in the house which used to belong to Elis Regina, one of my favorite Brazilian singers of all time. Thank you so much for everything!

  • The house is very nice and comfortable, with a number of incredible details. Eli is a super chef and very caring. Lorrane welcomed us to the house, helped us get settled, and always helped us with whatever we needed. We had a spectacular weekend in the best spot! The only thing missing was a little sunshine!

  • Unique house with a beautiful history in a central location. The house is very charming and looks exactly like in the pictures. Efforts have been made to keep it in an authentic state, it does need a little bit of attention but the special experience and beautiful surroundings make it worth it.
